History of NISE
Started and incorporated in 2021, Northern Kentucky Inclusive Students In Education (NISE) is a non-profit educational initiative specializing in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) for College and Career Readiness.
The goals for this program include the development of critical skills in thinking, reading, writing, speaking, and listening, and the ability to apply and utilize these skills in diverse academic and non-academic situations.
Mission Statement
To engage and develop learners as empathetic and critical thinkers who collaborate and lead in a global community.
Vision Statement
Students will engage in thoughtful discussions to foster compassion for the world around them. They will self-reflect on their own experiences as well as experiences of others. The program aims to help students process their own thinking with a goal to widen conversations for better understanding.
Through multiple lenses and viewpoints, we will discuss and examine what skill sets may need to be strengthened, modified, honed, and examined as individuals to create successful graduates.
